A web developer based in Atlanta
TechBony is a one-person web development studio based in Atlanta, Georgia. I build websites, online booking and stores for businesses of all sizes, here and anywhere else, and you work directly with me from the first call to the handover.
Who you actually work with
There is no sales team and no account manager. I am Jefferson Akpona, and I am the same person on the discovery call, writing the code and handing it over to you. Behind that small footprint is more than nine years of building secure systems on AWS for financial services, philanthropy and analytics teams.
TechBony brings that standard to businesses of all sizes, from a single salon or contractor to a company with several locations and a team of its own. None of them should have to choose between a template that breaks the moment they need something specific and an agency retainer that costs more than the problem did.
Atlanta-area work: SúFlair Hair Studios in Dunwoody
SúFlair Hair Studios, on Ashford Dunwoody Road, needed one place where clients could book salon appointments and buy hair extensions, and where the owner could run it all without touching code. Appointments had been going through a separate scheduling tool while product enquiries arrived through social messages, so there was no shared record of a customer and no inventory tracking.
Now booking, purchasing and back-office management run through one application, and the owner handles day-to-day catalogue and inventory changes without needing a developer.
Remote-first, wherever you are
I don't keep a storefront, because you would be the one paying for it. Every project runs over Google Meet and shared documents, with scheduled check-ins rather than drop-ins, and consultations run on weekdays from 9am to 5pm Eastern.
That suits anyone who would rather not leave work to sit in someone's office. Whether your business is in Midtown, Marietta or another state entirely, you can take the call from wherever you are. Everything is agreed in writing, at one fixed price, under Georgia law.
What I build
- Business WebsitesA website that brings customers in rather than just sitting there. Fast on a phone, easy to find on Google, and built so you can change your own opening hours without emailing a developer.
- Online Booking & SchedulingLet customers book themselves in at 11pm on a Sunday, straight into your real calendar. No phone tag, no double bookings, no appointments lost in a DM.
- Online Stores & PaymentsSell your products online and actually get paid. Secure card checkout, stock that keeps itself up to date, and an orders screen that makes sense.
- Getting Off Spreadsheets & PaperThe intake forms, invoices, and record-keeping that eat your evenings. Replaced with something that captures the information once and puts it where it belongs.

Questions people ask
Do you meet clients in person?
Projects run remotely over Google Meet, and that is a large part of why software built to this standard costs less here than at an agency. There is no office to visit.
Do you only work with Atlanta businesses?
No. I am based here, but every engagement is remote, so the same process works wherever you are.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on what it has to do, so every project gets one fixed price in writing before any work starts. The booking form asks for a rough budget, from under $2,500 to $20,000 and up, and the proposal follows within 3 business days of the discovery call.
How do I get started?
Book the free 45-minute discovery call and describe the headache in whatever words you would use. If TechBony is not the right fit, you will hear that on the call rather than in a proposal.

Tell me what's slowing your business down
A free 45-minute call over Google Meet, with no obligation and no sales pitch. Describe the headache in whatever words you'd use — you'll leave with a straight answer on whether it's worth fixing and roughly what that takes.
An evening a week, back.
