Overview

TechBony ("we", "us") provides technical consulting and web application development services. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. When you submit the form on our contact page, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name, if you provide one
• The project description you write
• The budget range you select, if you select one

We also record the date and time of the submission. We do not use advertising trackers, and this site sets no marketing or analytics cookies.

How we use your information

We use what you submit only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation
• Prepare a proposal or scope of work if you ask for one
• Keep a record of the enquiry for our own business records

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your explicit request.

Where your information is stored

Submissions are stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Amazon DynamoDB, and a notification containing your submission is then emailed to us through Google's Gmail service. AWS and Google act as our hosting and email providers respectively, and process this data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Third-party services

This site and our engagement process rely on a small number of third-party providers, each with its own privacy policy:

• Amazon Web Services — website hosting and data storage.
• Google Workspace (Gmail) — delivery of the notification email containing your enquiry, and our handling of it afterwards.
• Google Calendar and Google Meet — if you book a consultation, we create a calendar event containing your name, email address, and anything you tell us you'd like to discuss, and send you a calendar invite with a Google Meet link. Bookings and check-ins are held over Google Meet.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to keep reasonable business records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@techbony.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in managed AWS services with encryption at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information — credentials, financial account details, health information — through the contact form.

Children's privacy

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be described on this page.
