Process
How a project actually runs
Every project follows the same five stages, so you always know what happens next, what you'll see, and what's needed from you. No disappearing for six weeks and hoping for the best.
Step 01
Discovery Call
45 minutes · Google Meet · Free
A conversation, not a questionnaire. You walk me through how the business actually runs today, what is costing you time, and what you wish it did instead. No jargon, and no assumption that you already know what you need built.
- Understand how the business runs right now
- Look at whatever you already have — site, tools, paperwork
- An honest read on fit, including when you don't need me
Step 02
Proposal & Fixed Price
Within 3 business days
A written proposal in plain English: what gets built, when it will be done, and what it costs. One fixed price, with anything not included stated openly so nothing turns into a surprise invoice later.
- One fixed price agreed before any work starts
- A date you can hold me to
- What's included — and what isn't — in writing
Step 03
Build, With You Watching
1–2 week cycles · Regular check-ins
Work happens in short cycles, and at the end of each one you get a link to click and try yourself. You see the real thing coming together, not a progress bar, and you can change direction between cycles.
- A working link to try at the end of every cycle
- Short scheduled check-ins over Google Meet
- Change your mind early, while it is still cheap
Step 04
Launch & Handover
End of the project
Your site or system goes live, and you get the keys to everything. Accounts in your name, a recorded walkthrough of how to run it, and written instructions for the everyday tasks you'll want to do yourself.
- Every account and domain in your business's name
- A recorded walkthrough you can rewatch or pass to staff
- Plain instructions for the things you'll change most
Step 05
Ongoing Support
Optional · Monthly or as-needed
Some clients take the keys and run it themselves. Others prefer someone on call for updates, changes, and the occasional 'is this normal?' question. Either is fine, and you are never locked into a contract.
- Updates, monitoring, and security patches handled
- New features priced as and when you want them
- Someone to ask, without a long contract
Start at step one
The discovery call is free and genuinely no-obligation. If TechBony is not the right fit, you will hear that on the call rather than in a proposal.
